Christopher Mkhonto, professionally known as Dr General Muzka, is a celebrated South African musician and producer. Born in 1970 in the village of Xanthia, Bushbuckridge, Mpumalanga, he began his musical journey in 1987 as the lead vocalist for the Fantasy band in Agincourt, under the leadership of Mudau Dhlamini. In 1989, he joined the Soul Lovers Band in Thulamahashe, working closely with Noah and Worra Khosa, as well as the renowned Shangaan Disco artist Peta Teanet. Together with Teanet, Mkhonto formed the reggae band Jahman T in 1993, paying tribute to Chris Hani.
